California Dreaming
A photo essay
by Josh MillerWhat do you think of when you hear the word "California"? We'll wager that a few basic images come to mind. Sunshine, sand and surf. The Hollywood sign looming in the hills above L.A. Stars in the pavement on the Walk of Fame. And then there's the Golden State landmark that offers an experience like no other: Disneyland, a top West Coast destination for over 50 years. Recently, we were lucky enough to see this fabled resort work its magic on two groups of music students from Colorado Springs Christian School and Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following intensive workshop sessions with Disneyland clinicians they set off into the park to live out their own California dream for a day. We're pretty sure that it's one they'll remember for a long time to come.
