Faces in the Park
"World Tour"
A photo essay
by Josh MillerThere's a reason why they call it Walt Disney World Resort: It welcomes travelers from allover the globe, and it reflects the diversity of our planet. Nowhere is this more apparent than at Epcot, one of four theme parks contained within the resort. The Pavilions that stretch around the lagoon in Epcot's World Showcase area represent the culture and cuisine of 11 countries: Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Following a busy schedule of clinics and performances elsewhere at Disney, students from Mercyhurst High School in PA, McBain High School in McBain, Mich., and River Valley High School in Caledonia, Ohio, took a well deserved breather and roamed through the World Showcase Pavilions. What they found there—captured in these photographs—was a travel experience unlike any other.
